Pre-K: Wonderful Water

Within each lesson, little ones learn all about our most precious resource through song, read-alouds, experimentation, and hands-on art activities.

Lesson 1

Lesson 1: What is Water?

Water is all around us here in the Bronx! Join Bronx Children’s Museum’s Education Director Nicole Wallace as she shows us the different types of water and where it can be found.

Lesson 2: Make it Rain

Drip, drip, drop! Join Bronx Children’s Museum Education Director Nicole Wallace as she explores the water cycle by making a rainstorm in a jar.

Lesson 3: Waters On the Go! Bus Visit

Full steam ahead! Step aboard our famous purple Museum bus and visit our mobile exhibit, Waters On the Go!

Lesson 4: Bronx Waterways: Finding Calm in Nature

Did you know the Bronx has more greenspace than any other NYC borough? Take a virtual tour through some of the amazing parks and waterways found right here in the Bronx as you find new ways of feeling calmer and less stressed.
